Rammang-rammang is a name of tourist attraction that offering a panoramic view of karst (limestone) hills located in Maros-Pangkep, Salenrang Village, South Sulawesi Province, or about 40 km north of Makassar City. In Rammang Rammang Village, tourists can see karst mountains towering and overgrown with dense vegetation in the surrounding area.

Rammang-rammang is listed as the third largest karst mountains in the world after Tsingy in Madagascar and Shilin in China. The width is about 45,000 hectares. UNESCO has also included the Rammang Rammang karst mountains as one of Indonesia World Heritage Sites.

The name of Rammang-rammang is from the Makassar language and are interpreted as clouds or fog. It can be seen from the condition of the Rammang-Rammang area which is always foggy, especially in the morning or when it rains.

Bintan Island, also called Negeri Segantang Lada, is an Indonesian island. It is the largest island in the Riau Archipelago, and its largest city, Tanjung Pinang, is located in the island's southwest. Because of its location near the equator, Bintan Island gets plentiful sunshine all year round. The ocean water here is clear and light blue. The beach is white and clean, and the marine ecosystem is rich.

The piercing rings of the genta are heard at every ceremony, big or small. Held in the left hand of the Balinese Hindu priests, and accompanying the chants and mantras, the genta is a vehicle for prayer.

This is a sacred object, only to be used by those who have completed the mawinten ceremonies, a cleansing rite of passage for those entering the religious realm, to become priests and scholars. The genta is said to be the weapon of the lord Iswara.

The philosophy of the genta alone is deep and complex, and the above only scratches the surface.
